Roughly 9 months later, Google has introduced the winners, and the applications it's selected aid users do sets from calling their closest cabs to evaluating sales costs at various stores to determining their carbon footprint. Utilizing Android Google Maps application, cab4me allows users call a taxi to their location with just one click. The appliance was created by Konrad Huebner and Henning Boerger.

With Locale, you could make sure your device knows to change to vibrate mode the moment you step into your workplace. With Android's GPS navigation abilities, Locale fixes your telephone's options to wherever you are located. Therefore, your telephone number may forward calls to different amounts based on whether you are at work or home, or may send a status message on Twitter letting folks know where you are located. This program is made by Carter Jernigan, Clare Bayley, Jasper Lin and Christina Wright, with additional gains from Jennifer Shu.

PicSay, basically a fall and drag image editor for the cell phone, PicSay allows users liven up their images with colour correction, featuring, word bubbles and distortion results. This program actually allows you put up real, live races with your teammates and monitor their progress in real time while the race is going on. Whether on base, bike or skis, Softrace uses Google Maps location Application programming interface to monitor each user's improvement, and may store data of the race onto Android SQLite database. This application was created by Staffan Kjellberg and Thomas Kjellberg. An opensource audio centered social network, TuneWiki allows users share what they have been listening to with one another, or to use Google Maps to find what consumers around the world are listening to.

TuneWiki also performs video and sound for songs while scrolling synchronized words as they play. The equipment generates an electronic library of songs that hooks up to the Internet and shows similar seeming songs or musicians.
